We are honoured to be in several esteemed wedding magazines this summer & fall!

Having our work showcased is truly a dream come true, as is the presentation of unique weddings that we've worked on that reflect our diverse couples. It also brings together the amazing wedding community and represents how many creative & driven individuals work in this exciting and incredible industry.

Darci & Alex, Blush Magazine, Fall Winter 2016

Darci & Alex’s ethereal wedding at the majestic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was truly a dream. Shown through the incredible photography of Gabe McClintock, their day was brought to life by an immensely talented team and dreamy design aesthetic. Soft and romantic, the decor was both classic with natural inspiration. The floral arrangements of bountiful baby’s breath delicately placed on slender glass pedestals were designed by the incredible Lyn of Flower Artistry, and they elegantly complimented the opulence of Mount Stephen Hall Ballroom- the perfect backdrop for glamorous Rocky Mountain nuptials. From the classic & gorgeous 1952 Bentley Mk VI whisking the newly wedded couple for his and her photographs in the mossy forests of Banff National Park, the whimsical and ethereal Leanne Marshall gown and gold leaf headpiece to the sophisticated reception glowing in the candlelight, this stunning wedding reflected the couple to a tee- it was beautiful, tasteful, chic and effortless.

Amy & Brian in Wedluxe Magazine, Western Canada Summer/Fall 2016 Edition

Amy & Brian’s wedding was a joy to be a part of. One of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and the most idyllic winter setting at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise just days before Christmas Eve made for the most stunning winter wonderland wedding inspired by the day they met.

The pristine photography by Ikonica Images and Edward Ross Photography perfectly merges the style and feel of the day- quintessential nostalgia as the setting and weather brought back tender memories of when Amy & Brian first met. The fine art photography of Ikonica perfectly captured the bright and sparkling details of their wedding day decor. Gathering inspiration from the spectacular natural scenery, the beautiful & delicately laced linens were reminiscent of the freshly fallen snow that had permeated the sky as the couple said their I do’s. The ceremony decor was taken over by the spectacular mountain scenery, perfectly framed between chiffon panels draped and held in place by pristine bouquets of roses in ivory & white. For the reception, the voluminous arrangements of roses, hydrangea and dusty miller in neutral shades were perfectly arranged in the Chateau’s Sunroom- a perfect venue for an intimate affair. Add in the falling snow delicately cascading over the couples’ first dance as husband and wife, the signature cocktails of Moscow Mules & White Chocolate Peppermint Martinis, and champagne served in ice-flutes- this wedding was a fairy tale love story in every way.

Funke & Andrew in Weddingbells Magazine Summer/Fall 2016

Andrew & Funke’s vibrant and charismatic personalities were perfectly embodied in every detail of their wedding day- from Funke’s stunning & intricate Ines Di Santo gown, to the arrangement of brightly coloured phalaenopsis orchids in fuchsia, orange & ivory, to the splendid wedding cake and industrial-style venue that is CharBar in Calgary. From the moment Funke walked down the aisle, this wedding was something to behold and we think it’s safe to say every guest felt treated to a fantastic celebration of love & joy. Especially considering their wedding hashtag, #funandlove2015 which was widely used to capture the more intimate moments of the wedding. Having this wedding published in an esteemed magazine such as Weddingbells gives other eager eyes a glimpse into their perfect day, and we are so excited to share it with the world.

Stacy & Ryan in Calgary Bridal Guide 2016

This wedding at the stunning Azuridge Estate was incredibly beautiful from the gorgeous bride’s lace and tulle wedding gown, to the understated and elegant reception arrangements of ivory hydrangea. Disregarding the rainy weather, the couple wedded in one of the most beautiful venues in the heart of the foothills. Sean Leblanc perfectly captured their day and the emotion of a couple truly in love with his superb photography. Their families were brought together for this joyous event, and the personalized details in their wedding decor perfectly reflected Stacy & Ryan’s personalities and roots.

Stacy: “We wanted an intimate and personal wedding that also showed some of our quirks. We wrote individualized notes to each guest, incorporated a subtle giraffe flare to the decor, and had a lighthearted and fun ceremony outside in the gazebo.”

Julianne: “The giraffe design on the stationary had a heartfelt significance as the bride’s family donated the first giraffes to the Calgary Zoo. It was a fun way to make the design totally about Stacy & Ryan, and completely custom to their style.”

Jill & Neil in Calgary Bridal Guide 2016

The gorgeous Fairmont Palliser Hotel was the ideal setting for Jill & Neil’s intimate destination wedding. Living in England, this couple needed full planning services and a design vision. Taking elements from their home and personalities, we created a beautifully romantic tablescape using rich maroon and classic ivory. What resulted was a beautiful spread dimly illuminated in candlelight, shimmery satin tablecloths and an overwhelming amount of love for this amazing couple.

Julianne: “I think the memorable parts of this wedding were how intimate and heartfelt the ceremony was. The couple said song lyrics as they said their vows, which was really touching. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The groom was from London {where the couple currently lives} so we wanted to incorporate some British background into the wedding, by using english roses on the stationery. The reception felt like an intimate dinner party for friends and family at the couples’ home.”

Jill: “Our favourite details were the amazing decoration and coordination by Julianne. Everything went so smoothly and could not have asked for a better day.”

Neither could we! It was perfect and beautifully timeless. Thank you Alan for the lovely photography.
