3 things you need to think about when inviting KID

3 things you need to think about when inviting KIDS to your wedding 🐣

1 - Kids count as guests in the overall guest count. Anyone who needs a meal and somewhere to sit = Guest! (Ie. little sweet babies who aren’t at the bar or eating solids or sitting in a high chair are not included in the seating/guest count )

2 - Ask the parents in advance if they need a booster seat or high chair, most venues can accommodate but you should always confirm in advance to ensure they have enough. Don’t wait to do this on the day of!

3 - The parents will adore you if you seat them on the perimeter to make room for strollers & the bags on bags on bags that go with taking children *anywhere* (speaking from experience…)

Oh any why not a 4th tip!! Thinking about activity bags for the kids?? Love it, but think puzzles/games over crayons/markers unless you’re okay having said crayons/markers all over your rented table linens….

LET’S GET BACK TO BIDNESS! Oh my god you have to PINCH US, could this really be!?! There were lots of hoots and hollers heard in this office during today’s reopening announcement in Alberta. While of course we have some questions (such as when borders will reopen and if venues will be held to any capacity limits...?), but most of all, we finally have hope ❤️ Its been a long road, and I can’t believe the day is near when we can move past this. It’s within our grasp. There were some days I didn’t know how we’d make it to the other side, but here we are. WE ARE (vaccinated&) READY to get back to work. Ready to hug our vendors/friends and clients. Ready to see family and loved ones without hesitation. Ready to party until the sun comes up & never look back 😭❤️😭🎉 S O O N.

Too cool for (wedding planner) school!? 😎 Now listen, yesterday I announced our new budgeting workshop for wedding planners and we’re going to be breaking down a budget like it’s 1995.... We are going all in, full nerd on this one 🤓YES I’m aware that talking about numbers + spreadsheets doesn’t make everyone jump out of their seats, but I tell you what. You know what is cooler than being cool...!?🥶 It’s being SMART and knowledgeable especially in the eyes of your clients, saving them tons of money and looking like a total boss in the process.
