It’s been three weeks since our wedding and I can genuinely say that we are missing Julianne (and her check-in emails). From our first meeting with Julianne. She impressed us with her personality, style and professionalism. We instantly knew that we wanted Julianne as our wedding planner. If there is one word that resonates in terms of her style it would be “elegant”. Julianne knew exactly what we wanted in terms of the vision for the design and the feel of the room. She paid attention to every detail and ensured that we were partnered with the right vendors that met our standards and expectations. She invests time in getting to know her clients and then utilizes that information to exceed their expectations. Both Adrian and I didn’t have to worry or stress about anything, we were confident in Julianne’s ability as she was consistently on top of everything from answering our emails, to keeping in touch with us by following up on our deliverables and being available for our calls, in fact she went above and beyond by keeping us in the loop of when she would be away from the office. On the wedding day Julianne was there and just knowing that she was there had us at ease. Everything flowed as scheduled, each vendor was given the timeline by Julianne, which helped with keeping us on point. Julianne was clam and had everything under control, she was very adaptable with stuff changing and worked with it. Our wedding day will be a beautiful memory for both of us and a lot of credit goes to Julianne! If you are like us and travel a lot for work and if you want to enjoy your wedding, without having to worry about every single vendor and issue that comes up, we highly recommend hiring a wedding planner, and if you’re looking for a timeless, elegant and romantic wedding – Julianne is your best choice! Its been 5 days since my wedding and I’m still having a hard time finding the words to describe how perfect it was. I thought planning a big destination wedding with a busy schedule would be impossible for me, but Julianne not only made it happen– but I had so much fun working with her all year long! She is creative, professional, and just an overall joy. She took the time to get to know us and pulled off a wedding that was more “us” than I could ever have imagined. The only time I shed a tear on my wedding day was during the room reveal. It was the icing on the cake to the most perfect day of my life. Thank you everyone at JYW. I did not work with Julianne, as we eloped/had an intimate ceremony. However, Aimsley did a phenomenal job! Being from the States, my husband and I relied on Aimsley for her expertise and knowledge of the area and reliable vendors. She helped answer our many questions and made the entire planning process seamless and 100% stress-free. I mean that whole-heartedly! Having a super non-traditional wedding already made the planning and day easier, but Aimsley gave me the comfort of knowing all the things that did need to be in place, were. I definitely recommend having an intimate wedding ceremony, but if you plan on having one in Banff, choose Julianne Young Weddings!

Julianne was a Godsend for our wedding! She fully understood the vision that I had in my head and she brought it to life, and it was even better than I imagined! I actually cried when I walked into my reception room because she had done such a beautiful job on the decor! She was there to hold my hand throughout the entire planning process and it was so calming and reassuring to have her with me on my wedding day. I knew that if anything came up, she was on it! I would and do, recommend everyone to Julianne! I was able to have a fully stress free wedding because all I had to do was show up and enjoy! Initially approaching Julianne and her team with an Elopement, we received nothing but excellent service from Aimsley, Paige, and the team from the moment we contacted them. The girls really do know how to tackle events of all sizes and captured our vision of a low-key outside wedding beautifully. Even as our event grew from an elopement to a small wedding of ~40 people, the team was responsive and professional in the way they guided us through the organizing process (which was no small feat as we were very intimidated by the idea of having a “real” wedding). Their breadth of experience was evident through many intersections in the planning process. When things came up with vendors, Aimsley was actively resolving or fixing the issue before I even had a chance to contact her! She was fabulous to work with and has the patience of a saint. People say a wedding planner is the one thing you shouldn’t go without, and even with a small event, we couldn’t agree more. We look forward to sending lots of friends to Julianne Young Weddings!
