They did not miss one detail, all our friends and family were so impressed! I don’t even know where to start. We had the most amazing day and they made everything run so smoothly behind the scenes.

We couldn’t say enough good things about Julianne Young Weddings Inc. We chose their Riesling Program to help us with light planning and day of coordination, and everything about it was perfect. We were paired up with Renee for our planning and then had Renee and Jessica with us on our wedding day. It was like having a helpful, organized, stylish, and punctual guardian angel with you for your entire wedding day. The weeks leading up to the wedding felt like a breeze and the day of couldn’t have felt smoother. Between the planning resources, upfront pricing, quick response times and overall amazing team you truly cannot go wrong with this group of ladies. We couldn’t recommend them enough. I think I stopped Renee multiple times throughout my wedding to ask if she would be my real life friend. Five Stars.

We cannot thank Julianne Young Weddings enough for all their hard work planning out wedding! From the first meeting with Julianne to the final moments with our lea planner Renee, we were absolutely blown away. Our vision came to life and had zero stress leading up to the day of our wedding. Renee was fantastic at communicating with us and our vendors. Her bubbly personality and calming presence allowed us to feel comfortable with her instantly. I would HIGHLY recommend JYW for your wedding planning needs 🙂 

We first came across Julianne’s website about 3.5 years ago, shortly after our engagement. The classic, elegant style of all the weddings on her page caught my eye. My fiancé and I booked a venue consultation to find an “outdoor” venue in the Banff area for 125 guests, which is remarkably difficult due to limited venues and national park regulations. One of the pitches she made was for the Spray Meadow in the Fairmont Banff Springs grounds, a seldom used patch of river-side grass. Given the daunting task of having to essentially build a small town and all its infrastructure (power, tents, raised flooring, food preparation stations, bathrooms, etc.), we opted to get married elsewhere in Canada.

However, one pandemic and 3 venue cancellations later, we were in a pickle and nearly every wedding venue on the continent was booked—until we remembered Julianne’s vision of the Spray Meadow, and how there are hardly ever events hosted there. Fortunately for us, the Fairmont Banff Springs booked this space for us, mentioning they would only do so because we were working with Julianne and hosting a wedding here would be very difficult for anyone not of her caliber.

From the day we booked the Spray Meadow, until the day we got married, it was an incredibly smooth process. Julianne has great relationships with every amazing vendor in the Banff area, so she was great at recommending appropriate ones. She kept us on a timeline of completing tasks, which never felt too stressful or burdensome. No matter how small or large a hiccup during the wedding planning process, Julianne always knew how to fix it—while always making us felt at ease. For every 5 minutes she spent addressing it an issue us, we could tell she was spending hours dealing with it in the background. She was always professional at every step of the way, even while fighting for us at times when the venue let us down. Her eye for design, especially for our style (elegant and timeless), was impeccable. A few times, we chose against Julianne’s recommendations, and lo and behold, almost every time we ended up choosing to swap back once we had a better idea of her vision.

As the wedding weekend itself unfolded, it became clear that Julianne was able to do all these things because she has an absolutely amazing team backing her up—from design to setting up day-of. Up until 30 minutes prior to our outdoor rehearsal dinner, the weather was looking amenable. However, when we audibled to the indoor venue, the JYW team was able to completely break down setup and re-setup in the new space. It was just as beautiful of a function, and still started on time! The wedding ceremony itself (also outdoor) had to be squeezed into a narrow pocket of time without rain, and no one could tell that it was going anything other than to plan. The wedding itself, including the reception within our little tent town could not have gone smoother. Every vendor seemed so excited to be a part of our celebration, and we feel that they all fed off of the JYW energy and their meticulous planning. We could not imagine having gone through this process without Julianne and her team, and could not recommend her more highly.

We decided that we wanted to get married in the Lake Louise area, however, had never been to Alberta before. After nearly endless hours of reading reviews and doing research online, we decided that Julianne Young Weddings was clearly the best and we would be in great hands with them!

We were teamed up with Aimsley and Renee, who we cannot thank enough for their immaculate planning. From the very beginning, we knew they were up to the task. Without their knowledge and expertise, we would not have been able to have the dream wedding we wanted.

The entire team that they put together hit it out of the park. The hair/make up, the photographer, the officiant, the flowers, the cake, every other person who was involved in our day – were professional and perfectly matched to exactly what we wanted.

We could not have pulled off anything nearly as wonderful as Aimsley did, and we are forever grateful. Not only is she amazing at her job, but she is a wonderful person. If you are considering a wedding planner in the Lake Louise/Calgary area, you will not be disappointed with Julianne Young Weddings and their team!!

Every year since 2018, my husband and I pick a beautiful, bucket list venue to celebrate our anniversary with friends and family and after almost 2.5 years of lock down during COVID, we were happy to settle on a having our 4th anniversary celebration at the Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise! However, we are also from Dallas, Texas, so the feat of putting together a once in a lifetime event would not be easy. Enter Julianne Young . . . .

I never in my wildest dreams would have been able to set up such a memorable, STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL, comprehensive, and organized weekend for our of town guests if it weren’t for her. From our very first virtual call to the final call before meeting in person in Banff, Julianne was there EVERY STEP of the way to ensure that every detail was in place. She had to brainstorm and help me resolve last minute fiascos with vendors while organizing vendors both in the Banff / Calgary market as well as my vendors I brought in from Dallas and did everything flawlessly. She always did everything with a smile and would always ping me with friendly reminders each week or month leading up to our weekend to keep me on track. She helped us organize a private breakfast at Northern Lights with a gondola ride for our guests, an 80s private party at Park Distillery as a welcome event and dinner, a day of golf / shopping / or spa for our guests, a private boat tour of Lake Minnewanka with our guests, and of course, our most amazing vow renewal and reception at Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise.

If you are reading this review, you are probably someone who is looking to find the “best in the business” with event planning. Look no further. I have had four celebratory events in the past 4 years since getting married and hands down, Julianne Young, may be the best planner yet. I would not settle for just anyone to plan the biggest day of your life. I would highly recommend you look at her work, have a call with her and let her demeanor, professionalism and work do the speaking. She was worth every penny and I have already told her that I will likely hire her again for one of our future events.
