Being able to live one’s dream everyday by doing what I am truly passionate about is a gift in itself, but to be honoured in a way that is recognized on a national level and to be nominated amongst the industry’s finest, is truly the greatest reward.

It is hard to put into words how meaningful receiving this award is to me, as there are so many people in this industry that I look up to admire and this isn’t something I didn’t dare dream to happen for many more years. Most people that know me know I put my heart and soul into my career, into every client, and I can honestly say that I love what I do. To everyone that helped get me here – From my husband, family, friends, my amazing team at JYW, and our industry partners – Thank you. I am so grateful & humbled, and I could not have done this without your love & support.

Another exciting announcement is that we were also a finalist for the “Best Wedding over $75K” for Lauren & Jordan Eberle’s Classic White Wedding. A quintessentially classic and elegant affair set amidst the beautiful Crystal Ballroom at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel, this lovely event was a highlight of my career. I cannot thank Lauren & Jordan enough for entrusting me with their vision and giving me the opportunity to help bring this wonderful wedding to life. Planning a wedding is truly about teamwork, so I would also like to thank all of the vendors involved in this wedding – We are lucky to work with some of the industry’s finest here in Calgary.

A very heartfelt congratulations to all of the nominees and winners; This industry is one of collaboration and respect and I am so proud to be amongst you all in this rewarding profession.
