    Meredith and Shawn’s two day tented wedding was brought to life in a grassy mountain meadow in the heart of Banff National Park. The Texan couple reached out to Julianne Young Weddings to conceptualize a once in a lifetime Canadian destination wedding for their 130 international guests.

    Bringing in the groom's Indian heritage was an important piece to ensure both cultures felt represented in this wedding weekend.

    From the day we booked the Spray Meadow, until the day we got married, it was an incredibly smooth process. Julianne has great relationships with every amazing vendor in the Banff area, so she was great at recommending appropriate ones.

    It was the couple's wish to spend as much time as possible, and Julianne brought forth the idea of hosting the event at Spray Meadows; A natural meadow on the heels of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. A seldom used space, this became the perfect blank canvas for Meredith & Shawn’s once-in-a-lifetime mountain wedding.

    We could not imagine having gone through this process without Julianne and her team, and could not recommend her more highly.

    Guests then ventured into the sailcloth tent for a four course meal served by the Fairmont Banff Springs team, followed by a performance from the Famous Players band.
