It’s not everyday we get to help a couple from the moment he pops the question to the moment they say “I do”.

Scott & Jenn were a very special couple to us that we were lucky to get to know over a total of 28 months working together.

We met Scott early in 2019 when he reached out to us to help plan his beautiful winter proposal at Emerald Lake Lodge. Shortly after we moved into wedding planning mode, and were lucky to be on board for that too. We originally landed on an August 2020 date at the beautiful Charbar restaurant in Calgary, but our wedding planning journey took a few hard lefts (thank you COVID-19) and 28 months later, the longest period we’ve ever worked with a client for, it was finally time for their wedding day.

And let me tell you – It was everything we dreamed of and more.

We worked with them to bring an intimate feel to the industrial design of Charbar located in the historic Simmons Building along the riverfront. The pops of colour in the florals, stationery & glassware personalized the space & added meaningful details do the bride and her amazing mother, who were partners in crime along the process. Chandeliers hanging from the wood beams brought elegance and lush hanging greenery added personality into the industrial (but already beautiful) space. An extra sweet personal touch of Hoopla donuts, the groom’s favourite touch, was enjoyed by all!

We are so very grateful for the exceptional team of vendors that helped us bring together this dream come true of a day.
